Peritoneal mesothelioma is an aggressive tumor of the peritoneum, the lining of the abdominal cavity. Approximately 1/3 to 1/5 of mesothelioma cases are of this type.

Symptoms to be aware of are abdominal pain, fever, weight loss, fatigue, and digestive upsets.
