Jack Clapper has represented victims of mesothelioma since 1980. As one of the first lawyers in California to develop a practice devoted almost entirely to representing workers with asbestos-related diseases, he is recognized as a pioneering attorney in the field. He, and the lawyers working with him, have tried many cases against asbestos companies and obtained substantial jury verdicts, including several multi-million dollar verdicts.

Mr. Clapper graduated from Hastings College of the Law in San Francisco with a Juris Doctor degree in 1978. Among other professional organizations, he is a member of the American Trial Lawyers' Association, the California Association of Consumer Attorneys, the Trial Lawyers for Public Justice, and the San Francisco Trial Lawyers Association.

Prior to entering the law profession, Jack Clapper was a fighter pilot in the United States Air Force and served in combat in Vietnam.
